Add a Stripe-only app

After your Shopify setup, open Apps → Add app and use Connect a Stripe-only app. Enter an app name and a restricted Stripe key. The app represents the entire connected Stripe account, including all its products. An account can belong to only one app in Fusionmetrics.

The app uses the existing revenue dashboard and is included in All apps. Its billing accounts stay separate from Shopify Merchants. Shopify install metrics and acquisition setup do not apply.

Restricted key permissions

Give the key read access to Customers, Charges, Refunds, Balance transactions, Products, Prices, Coupons, Invoices, Invoice Payments, Subscriptions, and Events. These names refer to Stripe's API resources. Write access is not needed.

Fusionmetrics validates the permissions before importing. Missing access causes the import to fail; a partial import does not replace a working dashboard.

History and reporting scope

The initial import reads all available subscription and financial history. Subsequent imports retain raw snapshots and events. Stripe exposes only recent events, so older upgrades, downgrades, and other subscription changes may be unavailable even when their invoices remain available.

Reporting includes USD-denominated activity. Other currencies remain in the raw archive and are disclosed as excluded activity. Earnings use the date funds become available in Stripe Balance, and net earnings include Stripe fees and successful refunds.

Payments must have a linked Stripe billing profile or invoice to contribute to earnings. Payments with neither link, and their refunds, are excluded from reporting and retained in the raw archive. Linked one-time payments remain included in earnings without contributing subscription MRR.

The dashboard identifies unverified historical reporting. Historical subscription movements are still being validated; this notice is not a certification of complete history.
